Our Story: A Lifelong Passion for Travel
TravelMint was born from a love of travel, aviation, and the finer details of the airport experience.
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a pilot after taking my first jumbo jet flight to Europe. That passion evolved into a fascination with airport design and travel logistics—I even had a drafting table where I meticulously designed airport terminals, gates, and lounges.
My career took a different route—first in audio engineering, then founding a tech company—but travel remained a constant. As a frequent business traveler, I earned Air Canada Elite Status and Marriott Bonvoy Titanium, spending 75+ nights a year on the road.
Traveling the world with my wife and children, we’ve been lucky to explore Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and countless cities across North America. But no matter the destination, the highlight of every airport journey has always been the lounge—an oasis amidst the airport rush.
I’ve spent years learning the ins and outs of international airports—from the best transportation routes and security shortcuts to which lounges offer the best food, ambiance, and amenities.
