At Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ), travelers will find a fresh take on the traditional lounge experience in the form of the Aspire | Air Canada Café—a sleek, modern retreat located just beyond security in the domestic departures area. Whether arriving via the short ferry ride or the underground pedestrian tunnel from the mainland, the journey to the lounge is effortless, with its entrance directly ahead after clearing security.
This co-branded concept between Air Canada and Aspire welcomes a broader range of premium travelers than typical Maple Leaf Lounges. Access is available to Aeroplan 50K, 75K, and Super Elite members, Star Alliance Gold members, and select premium Aeroplan credit card holders. Uniquely, the lounge also admits Priority Pass and DragonPass members, making it one of the few Air Canada-affiliated lounges to do so.
Open daily from 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM, the café is designed to accommodate up to 133 guests and features a contemporary interior with varied seating—from private workspaces to communal tables and relaxed lounge chairs. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and wireless charging are available at most seats. Culinary offerings include locally sourced pastries, breads, premium coffee, and an assortment of wines, beers, and cocktails. A convenient “Homemade-to-go” section features ready-made sandwiches and light snacks for guests in a hurry.
With televisions, quiet zones for calls, and views over the compact terminal, the Aspire | Air Canada Café is a polished, practical space that reflects the evolving needs of urban travelers. It’s a standout feature in a compact airport, delivering comfort, convenience, and just enough indulgence before takeoff.

Reviews
The lounge at Toronto Pearson is a decent spot to relax before a flight, with a good selection of food, comfortable seating, and a generally peaceful atmosphere, but it tends to get overcrowded during peak hours, making it harder to enjoy the space and reducing the overall premium experience you’d expect from a lounge.
I had a wonderful experience at the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Toronto Billy Bishop. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The lounge was clean, comfortable, and had a great selection of snacks and drinks. I really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax before my flight. Overall, it was a great place to unwind and I highly recommend it!
