At Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG), the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge offers a quiet, refined space that reflects the warmth and cultural richness of Manitoba’s capital. Located airside in the Domestic and International Departures area, the lounge is open daily from 4:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., providing a welcome retreat for travelers heading to destinations across Canada and beyond.
This lounge is open to Air Canada Business Class passengers, Aeroplan 50K, 75K, and Super Elite members, Star Alliance Gold members, and holders of select premium Aeroplan credit cards. Travelers booked in Premium Economy, Latitude, Comfort, or Flex fares may also purchase lounge access in advance. Guest policies are family-friendly: elite members may bring one guest and up to five dependent children under 25 at no additional cost, with paid guest access also available.
Inside, guests will find a variety of comfortable seating options suited to both relaxation and productivity. The lounge provides complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, workstations with desktop computers and printers, and large windows that fill the space with natural light. The food selection is modest but fresh—wraps, pasta salads, cut vegetables, fruit, and light snacks are offered alongside soft drinks and coffee.
Winnipeg itself is a city known for its vibrant arts scene, multicultural energy, and historic architecture. Travelers passing through may be visiting for the world-renowned Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the lively Folklorama festival, or the polar bear enclosures and gardens of Assiniboine Park. For those fortunate enough to begin or end their stay in the city within this lounge, the experience captures the thoughtful hospitality and charm of the prairies in one premium package.

Reviews
I visited the lounge at Winnipeg Airport (Plaza Premium Lounge) and had a really great experience. It was comfortable, quiet, and well-maintained. The layout was easy to navigate, with clear signs and a welcoming atmosphere. I had access to everything I needed — fast Wi-Fi, plenty of power outlets, clean restrooms, and a decent selection of food and drinks. It was a perfect place to relax and recharge before my flight. I’d definitely visit again when traveling through Winnipeg!
