Want to upgrade your Frankfurt layover from ordinary to exceptional? With your Priority Pass membership, Frankfurt Airport (FRA) becomes more than just a hub—it becomes your personal retreat. While there are no dining credits available at FRA through Priority Pass, you still have access to a range of lounges across both terminals, offering everything from hot meals and craft drinks to showers and serene spaces to unwind.

Primeclass Lounge

Found airside in Terminal 2 on Level 3 near Gates E5–E9, the Primeclass Lounge offers a sleek, international ambiance with a touch of Turkish hospitality. Open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, it’s a solid pick for travelers heading toward long-haul gates. You’ll find a well-stocked buffet of hot and cold dishes—think savory pasta, rice pilaf, and roasted vegetables—alongside fresh pastries and local cheeses. The beverage selection includes beer, wine, spirits, and coffee drinks, and there’s free Wi-Fi, plenty of power outlets, and air conditioning throughout. For a quick reset, you can book a shower suite for an additional fee. The layout is airy and open, with a good mix of dining tables and lounge chairs. It’s a lounge that covers all the essentials with thoughtful design and attentive staff.

LuxxLounge

Tucked away landside in Terminal 1 between Concourses B and C on the Gallery Level, LuxxLounge is your best bet before passport control. Open daily from 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM, it welcomes Priority Pass members for a 3-hour stay, and children under 2 are admitted free. Inside, the vibe is relaxed and practical, with air conditioning, a range of seating options, and conference facilities if you need to jump on a call. The complimentary snack station features German pretzels, cookies, fruit, and light fare, while the self-service bar offers a variety of soft drinks and house wines, as well as German pilsner and liquor options. If you need a refresh, shower access is available for a small fee—worth it after a long flight. Whether you’re on business or leisure, LuxxLounge is the ideal spot to pause, plan, or simply enjoy a quiet break in the heart of FRA.

Priority Lounge

Located just opposite Security Checkpoints E6–E9 in Terminal 2, the Priority Lounge is a more intimate lounge that still checks all the boxes. Open from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM daily, it’s perfect if you’re looking for a hot buffet meal, a glass of Riesling, and a quiet spot to decompress. The buffet features hot entrées like grilled chicken, rice, and stews, alongside cold salads, bread rolls, and desserts. Coffee machines and soft drinks are readily available, while the alcohol corner serves wine, beer, and spirits. There’s also a prayer room, shower facilities (paid), and magazines to flip through as you wait. With a 3-hour stay limit and free access for kids under 2, this is a great spot for families or solo travelers who want solid food and a moment of calm before boarding.

Air France Lounge

Located airside on Level 2 in Hall D of Terminal 2, the Air France Lounge offers a refined atmosphere after clearing Schengen security. Open from 5:45 AM to 8:00 PM, it provides a comfortable haven before regional flights or European connections. The setup includes spacious seating, natural light, and a self-service bar with French wines, Champagne, and light bites such as quiche, sandwiches, macarons, and madeleines. There’s also a coffee machine, soft drinks, and premium teas for those wanting a quieter recharge. Though on the smaller side, this lounge is stylish and efficient—exactly what you’d expect from the French national carrier. It’s a charming slice of Paris in the middle of Germany.
