Think there’s nothing relaxing about flying out of D.C.? Think again. At Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), your Priority Pass membership turns what could be a stressful pre-flight rush into a sit-down dining experience—on the house. While there aren’t any Priority Pass lounges at DCA, one excellent restaurant partnership lets you enjoy a full meal and drinks with your travel companion, all included in your membership. If you’re looking to upgrade your wait time without paying extra, this is the spot. Here’s how to make the most of your visit.
American Tap Room
Located in Terminal C near Gate 35X, American Tap Room is where casual comfort meets elevated American fare—and where your Priority Pass benefits come into full effect. You’ll receive a $28 dining credit (per person), and you can register one guest for a combined $56 off your bill. All you need to do is show your valid Priority Pass card and same-day boarding pass before ordering. Settle into a leather booth or grab a seat by the bar and enjoy a menu that ranges from loaded burgers ($17-$20) and Southwest chicken salads ($16) to fish tacos ($18) and buffalo wings ($14). The tap list features local craft beers like Port City Optimal Wit and DC Brau, alongside classic cocktails and wines by the glass. The setting is inviting, with plenty of seating, soft lighting, and a comfortable, pub-style atmosphere that makes it easy to relax before your flight. Keep in mind: gratuity isn’t covered, so it’s customary to tip on the full pre-credit total. It’s a fair trade for skipping overpriced airport snacks and enjoying a proper sit-down meal instead.
Additional Lounges at DCA
While Priority Pass doesn’t grant access to traditional lounges at DCA, the airport is home to premium spaces for travelers with other memberships or status. You’ll find the American Airlines Admirals Club in multiple locations across Terminal 2, including near Gates C23-C34, D35-D45, and E46-E48. The Delta Sky Club and United Club are both near Gates B10-B22, and the American Express Centurion Lounge, known for its elevated food and drink program, is also in Terminal 2 near Gates B15-B22. Access to these lounges depends on your airline status, credit card, or premium cabin ticket.
