​The United Polaris Lounge at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is a premier facility designed to enhance the pre-flight experience for international business class travelers. Located in Terminal 1, Concourse C, near Gate C18, this lounge offers a serene environment away from the bustling airport. ​

Spanning over 15,000 square feet, the lounge provides a variety of seating options tailored for relaxation and productivity. Guests can indulge in restaurant-quality dining at “The Dining Room,” which features an à la carte menu and waiter service. For those seeking quick refreshments, a buffet with diverse options is available. Additional amenities include spa-like shower suites, private daybeds for rest, and high-speed Wi-Fi to ensure connectivity. ​

Entry to the Polaris Lounge is exclusive. Access is granted to passengers traveling in United Polaris business class on long-haul international flights, either before departure, during connections, or upon arrival. Additionally, international first and business class travelers on Star Alliance partner airlines departing from ORD are eligible for access. It’s important to note that elite status alone, such as United MileagePlus Premier status, does not confer entry to Polaris Lounges. ​

Guests are permitted only for those traveling in international first class on a Star Alliance member airline, allowing one guest per eligible passenger. United Polaris business class passengers and Star Alliance business class travelers do not have guest privileges. ​
